4,076 Little Dots of Relationship

ผลงาน Paper Installation ที่ต่อยอดมาจากงาน Poster ที่เคยออกแบบ
ให้กับนิทรรศการ Show Me Thai ที่เคยไปแสดงที่ Museum of
Contemporary Art Tokyo เมื่อปี 2007 เป็นมุมมองที่มีต่อเรื่อง
ความสัมพันธ์เชิงวัฒนธรรมที่แลกเปลี่ยนและส่งอิทธิพลซึ่งกันในระดับ
หน่วยย่อยและรายละเอียด จนท้ายที่สุดจึงเกิดภาพที่ชัดเจนขึ้น

การใช้ลักษณะเฉพาะของธงชาติไทยและญี่ปุ่นมาใช้ผสมผสานกันในโปสเตอร์
(วงกลมใหญ่ที่แบ่งเป็นแถบสีแนวนอน 5 แถบ)
ยังเป็นรูปแบบหลักในงานจัดวางครั้งนี้เช่นกัน แต่ต่างกันตรงแถบทั้ง 5
ถูกทำให้ต่างกันด้วยรายละเอียดที่สังเกตได้ยากขึ้น
พื้นผิวของกระดาษแต่ละวงถูกทำให้ต่างกัน จนทำให้วงกลมใหญ่สามารถ
แบ่งออกได้ 5 แถบเช่นเดิม เพียงแต่ผลงานชิ้นนี้กลับต้องการการสังเกต
มากขึ้นอีก จึงจะเห็นไทยในญี่ปุ่นได้…

Giving Box

Title: Giving
Size : 2 x 2 x 2 m.
Technique : multiple wooden boxes
Year : 2009/2010

Venue : Siam Paragon, Bangkok / UD Town, Udonthani
This work was produced for True Corporation’s Project. Oraganized by CM Organizer.

Concept : This box is inspired by the idea of giving for no limit. The donation box is usually in cubic form with a small hole on top. However, the artist thinks about the giving in multiple angles and here comes the box that can be accessed from all directions with “+” holes on every surfaces. All people can therefore come to this box and donate no matter how big or small they are.

The “+” mark represents things in positive ways. In addition, the colors of the box gives the idea of festive and happiness.
