สันติ ลอรัชวี (2514 กรุงเทพมหานคร)
นักออกแบบและศิลปินผู้สำรวจขอบเขตและหมุดหมายสำคัญผ่านการเชื่อมโยงกราฟิกดีไซน์เข้ากับศิลปะร่วมสมัย ตลอดเส้นทางอาชีพสันติพยายามพิสูจน์ว่าการออกแบบคือ “กิจกรรมของมนุษย์” ที่ใช้ในการตอบสนองต่อโลกรอบตัวมากกว่าจะเป็นเพียงทักษะทางอาชีพ
ทั้งในฐานะนักปฏิบัติและนักการศึกษา เขาสนใจในการประยุกต์ไวยากรณ์เชิงกราฟิกในการสร้างปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้คน เวลา และสถานที่ให้กลายเป็นประสบการณ์ร่วมที่จับต้องได้ โดยมีแรงบันดาลใจหลักมาจากความทรงจำและสภาวะความจริง เขาได้รับรางวัลนักออกแบบแห่งปี (Designer of the Year) ในปี 2558 และรางวัลศิลปาธร สาขาศิลปะการออกแบบ ประจำปี 2568 นอกจากนี้เขายังคงทำงานด้านการศึกษาในนาม PRACTICAL school of design รวมถึงการเป็นภัณฑารักษ์ และเผยแพร่บทความทางการออกแบบ
ปัจจุบันเขายังคงทำงานออกแบบภายใต้สตูดิโอชื่อ ‘สันติวิธีออกแบบ’ ร่วมกับสุนัขคู่ใจ โดยมุ่งเน้นการทำให้การออกแบบเป็นเรื่องที่เข้าถึงได้ เพื่อยืนยันว่าศิลปะและการออกแบบคือส่วนหนึ่งของประสบการณ์มนุษย์อย่างไม่อาจแยกขาดจากกัน
Santi Lawrachawee (1971, Bangkok)
Santi Lawrachawee is a designer and artist who explores frontiers and significant milestones by bridging the gap between graphic design and contemporary art. Throughout his career, Santi has sought to prove that design is a “human activity” used to investigate truth and beauty within social contexts, rather than merely a professional skill.
As the co-founder of Practical Design Studio and PRACTICAL School of Design, he leverages his experience as both a practitioner and an educator to apply graphic grammar in creating interactions between people, time, and space, transforming them into tangible shared experiences. His work is primarily inspired by memory and lived reality. His excellence has been recognized with the Designer of the Year award in 2015 and the prestigious Silpathorn Award in Design in 2025. Furthermore, he remains active in education, curating, and publishing design literature.
Currently, he continues his design practice under the studio ‘SANTIvithee OKbab’ alongside his faithful canine companion, focusing on making design accessible and utilizing experimental learning to reaffirm that art and design are inseparable elements of the human experience.
